Dr. Frank Yuan is a Board-Certified Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon known for meticulous technique, natural results, and a culturally thoughtful ethos to patient care. As SAHA’s Medical Director, he serves as the translator between patients and their anatomy and skin health – helping to design individualized plans that enhance rather than alter.
A Johns Hopkins graduate and Michigan State College of Human Medicine alumni, Dr. Yuan completed his plastic & reconstructive surgery training at the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. He also completed a plastic surgery research fellowship at the University of Michigan funded by a competitive NIH Ruth L. Kirschstein F32 grant, and additional fellowship training in Hand, Upper Extremity & Microsurgery at the University of Connecticut.
His expertise spans surgical and non-surgical facial rejuvenation, breast and body contouring, post-weight-loss aesthetics, as well as cancer and trauma reconstruction. Grounded in trust, transparency, and safety, his philosophy is simple: balance, proportion, and evidence-based care for results that look refined and feel authentically you.
